- Is my email content stored?
- No. A message passes through memory while it is being forwarded and is never written to a database or to logs. We keep only the rule: what it matches, where it posts, and the time and result of each forward.
- What can a rule match on?
- A sender address, every address at a domain, a keyword in the subject, a Gmail label, or a mailing list identified by its List-ID header. Each rule uses one of these, and you can create several.
- What do the plans include?
- The free plan allows one rule and a monthly cap on forwards. Pro raises both. No card is needed to start. View pricing
- Does it work with Discord?
- Yes. When you create a rule you choose Slack or Discord, authorize the workspace or server, and pick a channel. Both work the same way and cost the same.
- How is this different from a general automation platform?
- Platforms like Zapier or IFTTT connect hundreds of services and charge for that breadth. Tsugite does one thing: it moves Gmail into Slack or Discord. You pick what to match and a channel; there are no webhook URLs to copy and nothing to script.
- Will it forward mail that skips my inbox?
- Yes. Tsugite watches the whole mailbox, so a message that a Gmail filter archives or labels on arrival is still forwarded. Spam, trash, drafts and your own sent mail never are.
- If several of us receive the same email, is it posted twice?
- No. A message is posted once per channel, even when several people on the thread have a rule pointing there. Rules created before this behaviour existed fall back to one post per rule, so recreate an old rule if you see a duplicate.
- Can I forward everything?
- Yes, with a Gmail label rule on INBOX. Two things to weigh: every post counts towards your monthly limit, and a channel that receives everything is just a copy of your inbox. Labels such as IMPORTANT or CATEGORY_PERSONAL are usually more useful. View pricing
- If an email matches several rules, is it posted more than once?
- Once per channel. Three rules pointing at one channel produce one post; three channels produce three. Each post counts separately towards your monthly limit.
- How quickly does a message arrive?
- Usually within seconds. Gmail notifies us when a message arrives rather than us polling for it, so the delay is the time it takes to read the message and post it.
- What Gmail permission does it ask for?
- Read-only access. Tsugite cannot send, delete, label or change anything in your mailbox. You can withdraw access at any time from your Google Account permissions page, which stops all further access immediately.
- Can it forward anything other than Gmail?
- Not directly; Gmail is the only source. That covers more than it sounds: services such as LinkedIn, X and Facebook email you when something happens, and a rule on those notification addresses brings them into your channel.
- What happens if I cancel?
- You can cancel from Billing on your dashboard at any time. Pro continues until the end of the period you have paid for, then the account returns to the free limits. Deleting a rule stops it immediately, and you can ask us to delete the account entirely at support@tsugite.org.
